Pancakes.... hmmm! When was the last time I made Pancakes?? It must have been years ago!! I have made many different types of pancakes, with different flavors and ingredients, but this recipe which I saw online recently is one Simple Yet Yummylicious Pancakes, which can be easily whipped up and enjoy at any time of the day. It's so fluffy and not so sweet, and can go without any toppings.
Ingredients: (makes 10 pieces)
200 g. Self Raising Flour (sifted)
70 g. granulated sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 egg
300 ml. milk
80 ml. corn oil
Methods:
- In a jug/bowl, add milk, egg, sugar, salt and corn oil. Using a hand whisk, whisk until combine.
- Add in self raising flour, whisk until just combined. Avoid over mixing.
- Heat a non-stick pan using low heat.
- Scoop 1 ladleful of batter onto the heated pan. The batter will spread into a circle.
- Small bubbles will form as it cooks. Flip when the bubbles stop forming.
- Continue to cook until underside is slightly golden brown; but not as the top part.
- Remove pancake from the pan and place over a plate.
- Repeat with the rest of the batter until all is done.
- Enjoy these fluffy pancakes...
