Ingredients: (serves 2)
400 g. chicken wings, drumettes
3 cloves garlic (peeled and minced)
1/2 tbsp. honey
1 tbsp. homemade dry rub (recipe, click here)
3/4 tbsp. light soy sauce
Methods:
- Rinse the chicken drumettes, pat dry with paper towels and place them in a large bowl.
- In a small bowl, add minced garlic, honey, dry rub and light soy sauce. Stir with a spoon to combine all the seasonings.
- Pour the seasonings over the drumettes. Mix well to make sure the wings are nicely coated with the seasonings.
- Cover the bowl and marinate in the fridge overnight.
- Bring out the bowl and let the drumettes come to room temperature for about 30 minutes before grilling/baking.
- Arrange the drumettes on a rack over a pan and bake in a convention oven of 180 degree Celsius for 20 minutes. Flip over the drumettes and continue to bake for another 15-20 minutes until golden brown and cooked.
- Remove from oven and serve!
